경희大·명지大 대학원 졸업(체육학 박사).

1970년 아시아탁구선수권대회 주니어부 개인단식 우승

1972년 제15회 스칸디나비아 오픈탁구대회(스웨덴) 개인전 단·복식 우승

1973년 제32회 세계대회(사라예보) 단체전 우승

1976년 제28회 서독 국제오픈탁구 선수권대회 개인전 단·복식 우승

1980년 서독 FTG 프랑크푸르트 팀 코치 겸 선수

국가대표 여자탁구팀 코치, 경희大 탁구팀 코치,

국가대표 탁구팀 감독, 국가대표 상비군 수석코치 역임.

現 용인大 사회체육학과 교수, 대한체육회 이사, 대한체육회 태릉선수촌 제17代 촌장

이에리사(52) 태릉선수촌 촌장이 국제올림픽위원회(IOC)로부터 '여성과 스포츠 트로피'(Women & Sports Troph
y)를 받는 영예를 안았다.


대한체육회는 IOC가 여성 스포츠 발전에 기여한 사람에게 주는 여성과 스포츠 트로피 아시아권 수상자로 이 촌장
을 선정했다고 9일 밝혔다.


이 상은 IOC가 해마다 5개 대륙 여성 스포츠인 5명에게 수여한다. 1973년 한국 구기 사상 최초로 여자탁구 단체전
에서 세계를 제패한 '사라예보 신화'의 주역인 이 촌장은 지도자 생활을 거쳐 지난해 3월부터 태릉선수촌 촌장으
로 일하고 있다.


Elisa Lee, former Korean table tennis star, was one of the winners of the IOC Continental Women Award for
her distinguished career in table tennis, as a top world athlete, coach and administrator.

A table-tennis role model

Elisa Lee, has distinguished herself in her country, Korea, as an athlete, then a coach and now a sports le
ader. After captivating the world of table tennis and winning numerous medals during her impressive caree
r, Elisa Lee continued her sports career as coach of the women Olympic team for the Games from 1984 to 2

04. She was also involved in setting up the Korean Women Sports Association (WSA) in 1981. Armed with a
PhD, in 2002 she began a sports administration career as Director of the Korean Physical Education Associ

tion for Girls and Women. No longer wishing to limit herself to training women and table tennis, in March 200
5 Elisa Lee took full charge of Korean high-performance sport, becoming the first female Chief of the NOC At
hletes Training Centre since its creation in 1966.

The World Award went to Gabriella Sabatini of Argentina for her continued support to girls and women in he
r country.
